   WHO AM I

PolinizAmigos

We are a binational conservation education project working to teach local youth about ecology through the lens of pollinators. Using citizen science, art, outdoor learning, and community mapping we will increase understanding and opportunities to interact with the Tropical Deciduous Forest. The project is based in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico and is in conjunction with The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, La reserva Monte Mojino, and La Parque Colorada. Through youth eco-programs, visiting scientist workshops, and outdoor classrooms, we will create more community engagement in conservation. This project is made possible through a grant from Alumni TIES and World Learning International.
